As a result of SAGL's relocation at the beginning of June 2010, national training courses are not planned for next year.  Should the need arise, requests will be handled on an Ad Hoc basis.

The SAGL provides the following laboratory training:

Wheat and wheat flour analysis:

 

One day course with training for sample dividing, flour mixing, hectolitre mass, falling number milling, farinograph, alveograph, mixograph, consistograph, falling number, protein, moisture and colour analysis. Including a lecture on Good Laboratory Practise (GLP) and accreditation.

Koring en koringmeel analises:

 

Een dag kursus met opleiding in monster verdeling, meel vermenging, hektoliter massa, valgetal vermaling, farinograaf, alveograaf, mixograaf, consistograaf, valgetal, proteïen, vog en kleur. Ingesluit ‘n lesing oor Goeie Laboratorium Praktyk (GLP) en akkreditasie.

Including a lecture on GLP and accreditation.

Drie dag kursus met praktiese opleiding in monsterneming, monster verdeling, dockage, hektoliter massa, horingagtige korrels, 1000 korrel massa, Bühler vermaling, meel vermenging, valgetal vermaling, vog, valgetal, kleur, as, proteïen, gluten, mixograaf, farinograaf, alveograaf, en consistograaf. Ingesluit ‘n lesing oor GLP asook akkreditasie.

Maize and maize meal analysis:

 

One day training for Roff milling, sampling, sample dividing, 100 kernel mass, kernel size, stress cracks, breakage susceptibility, milling index, whiteness index, speck count, protein, moisture, fat, starch, fibre and particle size analyses.

 

 

Mielie en mieliemeel analises:

 

Een dag praktiese opleiding op die Roff meule, monsterneming, monster verdeling, 100 pit massa, korrel grootte, spanningskrake, breekbaarkheid, maalindeks, witheidsindeks, spikkel telling, proteïen, vog, vet, stysel, vesel en partikel grootte.
